HavererGroup now new developed the cold rolled steel coils ASTM9260/DIN 60SiCr7, Spring steel DIN 17221 60SiCr7 /ASTM 9260 is a kind of pre-hardened material well suited for fabrication requiring shaping by blanking, bending, drawing, extrusion and swaging. Spring steel DIN 17221 60SiCr7 allows for closer dimensional tolerances and improved finish and available in several grades. Grade selection is important when considering higher levels of wear resistance.
DIN 17221 60SiCr7 spring steels are mainly used for the manufacture of railway rolling stock, cars and tractors on the leaf spring and coil spring, the safety valve spring, shock absorber on a variety of heavy machinery, instrument springs, friction plate.
Cold rolled coil is a flat steel product made by the cold rolling method. This is passing a hot rolled coil that has been pickled and oiled between a set of room-temperature work rollers after it has been unrolled. The applied compressive force causes the metal to become thinner, which increases its strength but also makes it more brittle. Afterward, annealing is frequently employed to reduce internal tensions and soften or “temper” the microstructure of the metal.
Cold rolling reduces material thickness, enhances surface quality, and increases material strength by improving the mechanical qualities and surface finish of the metal.
